    Testimonials

“I have had the pleasure to work with Bert on multiple imaging and analytical products at Gatan. Bert’s PMO leadership was key in producing a new project management framework that aligned with the company’s PLC process. This process helped streamline projects in key areas comprising schedules and milestones, resources, costs, risks, and procurement. He also facilitated and made improvements in communications with engineering, product management, service, operations, finance, and other stakeholders. Bert’s proactive program leadership, focus, and work ethic enabled the successful deployment of innovative products in a timely manner.”

Mukesh Patel, Director of Engineering, Gatan

“As a former Director of KEMA Laboratories and Co-Founder of the NY-BEST Test and Commercialization Center in Rochester (NY), I was invited by Bert to join his team when he established the Energy Storage Research and Test Center (ESRC) at Southern Research. Bert developed and implemented a clear vision to make the new system-level facility reality. Under his leadership, the first two phases of the ESRC build-up were delivered by forming a cross-functional program team, creating the necessary knowledge base, screening available grid-scale energy storage system technologies, developing the ESRC infrastructure, forming industry partnerships, creating a strong expert advisory board, business models, test manuals, and developing first research and test projects. Bert’s abilities, impeccable work ethics, and extensive education are hard to match and make it a truly inspiring experience to work together.”

Paul Leufkens, Business Development Manager America for DNV’s Smart Cable Guard, DNV GL

“Visionary is the attribute that comes to mind when I think about Bert. I had the pleasure of knowing Bert for about a year when he hired me for his flow battery research project at Southern Research Institute. Above all, I was impressed with Bert’s ability to execute and move projects to completion. And, of course, with his ability to immediately connect with others on a professional and a personal level. Bert will be a true asset for any position requiring resolve and people skills. He comes with my heartfelt recommendation.”
